These terms
These terms apply to every order you place with us. Please read them before ordering. They do not affect your legal rights as a consumer.
Your order
- When you place an order, we'll email you to confirm we've received it. The contract between us is formed when we dispatch your order.
- We may decline an order, for example if an item is out of stock or a price was clearly wrong. If we do, we'll tell you and refund any payment in full.
Prices and payment
- Prices are in pounds sterling (GBP) and include VAT where applicable. Delivery charges are shown at checkout before you pay.
- Payment is taken when you place your order.
Delivery
Delivery times and charges are set out in our Delivery Information. Responsibility for the goods passes to you when they are delivered.
Returns and refunds
You can cancel within 14 days of delivery, and you have full rights if anything is faulty. See our Returns & Refunds page.
Product information and advice
We describe our products as accurately as we can. Our guides and advice are general information to help you choose the right product. They are not a substitute for a professional damp survey, and some damp problems (such as leaks, rising damp or rain getting through walls) need a builder or surveyor to fix.
Please follow the instructions supplied with each product, including any safety warnings.
Our liability
- If we fail to meet these terms, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our failure.
- We are not responsible for losses that were not foreseeable, or for business losses.
- Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.

We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page when you place your order applies to that order.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts.
